Foundayo carries a boxed warning about a possible risk of thyroid C-cell tumors and should not be used by anyone with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2. Other serious risks can include pancreatitis, severe gastrointestinal reactions, kidney injury related to dehydration, gallbladder disease, serious allergic reactions and low blood sugar when used with insulin or certain diabetes medicines.
